Smith has been providing
a high quality service for its clients since
1927, and as a testament to this, Myrus Smith's
first clients are still clients today!
The firm was originally based in central London,
but following a merger and a couple of relocations,
the firm finally settled in Sutton in 1979
and is now one of the longest established firms
in the area.

Kevin
Fisher FCA CTA
Kevin deals with many of our clients in the
charity sector, but principally specialises
in tax, also being a qualified Chartered Tax
Advisor. He helps clients with complex matters
such as mergers and reconstructions, sale and
purchase agreements and VAT enquiries. Kevin
works in close liaison with Tim Subhan as part
of our highly experienced tax team.
Kevin joined Myrus Smith straight from University
in 1982. He has a wide range of interests from
classical music and steam trains to acting
as Chair of the Governors for a school in Croydon.
However, most of his time is taken with funding
the activities of his children! |

Stephen
Jones FCA
Stephen deals mainly with audit and accountancy
matters, being responsible for the audit department,
but is involved with personal and corporate
tax matters as well.
Before joining Myrus Smith in 1988, Stephen
worked for Grimshaws and also Meeson Makinson
Chartered Accountants, where he advised many
small businesses. He leads a full and active
life, being involved with charities such as
Riding for the Disabled and the Chernobyl Children's
Lifeline. He also admits to enjoying being
with his 3 daughters - and also with the Round
Table, winemaking and doing DIY.

Tim
Subhan
Tim has been with us as Tax Manager since 1997
and was made a Partner of the firm in 2005.
Tim's life in the profession started after
leaving university where he graduated with
an Honours Degree in Business Studies. Having
originally trained on the audit side, he decided
to specialise in tax and has now had over 20
years of experience in both personal and corporate
taxes gained through working in "top 50" firms
within the profession.
Tim has two teenage sons and manages a local
youth football team. His other passion in life
is Martial Arts but although the spirit is
willing, the body is now beginning to let him
down, and he considers playing football with
a veteran team a less dangerous option!
